Review and Approve AI Drafts
Every AI-drafted question arrives with the evidence you need to decide quickly. You approve, edit or reject each one. Only approved questions enter the bank.
Where to find drafts
- The Question banks shelf shows a banner and a to review count on the bank's tile.
- The bank's own page lists its batches waiting for review.
- Generate with AI lists every batch that still has undecided drafts.
- In the Institutional Workspace, the Work queue lists them as AI questions.
What each draft shows

The top of the page counts drafts, pending, approved and rejected ones, and lists any candidates that were set aside before reaching you, with the reason for each.
The AI check
Click Run AI check on a draft, or Run AI check on N unchecked to check every pending draft. A second AI model reviews each question:

| MULTIPLE_CORRECT | More than one answer could be defended. For fill in the blanks, a correct answer a student would write is not accepted, and the reason names it |
| NO_VALID_OPTION | None of the options is correct, or a blank cannot be filled with confidence |
| INCONSISTENT | The explanation does not support the stored answer |
| NOT_IN_SOURCE | Your material does not support the stored answer |
Editing a draft clears its verdict, so run the check again after you change it.
Approve, edit or reject
- Approve adds the question to the bank under the batch's bank and section, tagged
ai-generated, with you as its creator. - Edit opens the draft inline, then Save draft. You can change the stem, explanation, section, difficulty and tags, plus the answer in the same format as the bank's own Add question form:
- Multiple choice: type the four options and tick the correct one.
- Multi-select: one option per line, and the correct letters as
A,C. - Match pairs: left and right items one per line, and the mapping as
0=2,1=0,2=1, counting from 0. - Fill in the blanks: mark each blank with ___ and list answers as
carbon dioxide, CO2 | oxygen, with|between blanks and commas between alternatives. - Reject discards the draft.
- Approve all that passed approves every pending draft whose AI check came back OK.
- Approve selected and Reject selected act on the drafts you tick. If your selection includes drafts that have not passed the AI check, you are asked to confirm.
- Close review discards whatever is still undecided.
If a question with the same wording reached the bank after the batch was drafted, for example from a colleague's import, approval skips that draft and tells you.
A batch closes by itself when every draft has been decided.
Check the answer spread
When a batch has eight or more multiple-choice questions, the page warns if one letter holds more than half of the correct answers, or if a letter is never used. A student clicking the same letter every time should never score well. Edit a few answers to other positions and the warning clears.
